Yo! I'm Autumn...

I graduated in 2014 with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation, I moved to New York City with my dog, Malygos, and worked as a freelancer, digital designer, and pet product designer for several years. In 2016 I opened a small business called Malz Palz, where I illustrate and design apparel, gifts and accessories. In 2017 I worked as senior designer at a digital agency called Dressler, where I lead the website design and on-site kiosk for ‘Rendering the Unthinkable,’ an exhibition in the 9/11 Museum. In 2018 my husband and I adopted a very big, very good boy of a dog who needed a backyard. Thus, we moved to Haverstraw, New York. Two dogs and two cats later, and nine years into my career, I am currently the Senior Creative Lead at the Institute of Management Accounts, located in New Jersey.

I like pretty things, animals, and playing video games.

I enjoy working on projects for my community, and capturing the personalities of animals in my illustrations. I've worked with several animal rescues using illustration, design and social media campaigns to further their reach and refresh their look. I also work with my community on events in our town, and adjacent areas. I draw a lot of inspiration from space and geometric shapes.

I spend a good amount of time on the couch watching anime, k-dramas, and reading anything from romantasy to sci-fi horror. If I’m not snuggling with my pets, I'm playing DDR in my basement, an MMO at my PC, or weightlifting in my home-gym. I am also a Pokemon Master, no big deal.
